Call for applications 2027 conferences

The CIRM (Centro Internazionale per la Ricerca Matematica, http://cirm.fbk.eu), located in

Trento-Italy, supported and co-funded by Fondazione Bruno Kessler, the University of

Trento (UNITN), and the Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica (INdAM), intends to promote and fund in 2027

the following activities in the field of Mathematics Research, in collaboration with International Research Institutes and Universities.

In 2027, CIRM plans to organize a series of Conferences and Meetings on specialized and relevant topics on the international scene. Proposals to organize a conference must be submitted by a scientific director or a representative of an organizing committee, by 15th October 2026, by email to the address: segreteria.cirm@fbk.eu. The application must contain:

1) a detailed scientific proposal with names of possible speakers,

2) expected number of participants, up to a maximum of 60

3) a detailed financing budget plan, distinguishing the financing requested to CIRM (not exceeding 50% of the total) from external co-financing, specifying for the latter whether it is available or currently being requested

4) at least a couple of options for the period of the event

The scientific evaluation of the proposals and applications will be handled by the CIRM Advisory Board (https://cirm.fbk.eu/about-us/organization), which will meet in November.
